I eat about every 3-4 hours between 7 am and 7pm (unless I get home late and dinner is late). Usually by the time I go to bed at 10 I'm still not really hungry after dinner, so it seems to work.

Every 3-4 hours is great. My set up is like such though; 7:00-7:30 Breakfast (medium size) 10:00-10:30 Snack of some sort (small) 12:30-1:00 Lunch 3:30-4:00 Snack (small) 6:30-7:00 Dinner (medium size) 9:30-10:00 snack then usually bed by 11 or 12.
my weekends are definitely different. I end up waking up at like noon so my meals are a bit bigger and spread out less. ;P
3-4 hours is what works for me..kind of keeps blood sugar evened out (I am diabetic). It also keeps your metabolism moving along. Some people find that 3 meals a day is good for them.
