Good information, thanks. I'm not qualified by education to really comment, so this is just my personal view, but I like to get the extra omega 3s in products like eggs and dairy that I use a lot of anyway and I also believe ALA is good to consume but I personally wouldn't supplement with a pill or anything and I don't consume much fish. Where I shop, also, there isn't much price differential between omega 3 products and regular products.
don't pay double the price for omega 3's in dairy such as eggs, cheese, butter, milk because it doesn't have the omega dha it has ala and it's the dha that your looking for people are paying double the price for foods saying it has omega 3's when it's not even the one you need. Better to eat fish , sardines or go buy a good supplement.
