Actually, I've read the opposite about coffee and inflammation. For example, Dr. Briffa wrote of a study recently in which coffee was found to reduce inflammation fairly significantly.

Recently I have frequently read/heard that coffee causes inflammation. Is it coffee or the caffeine in coffee that is culprit? Do all caffeinated beverages cause inflammation?
