Once every 2-3 months I will have a Bud Platinum or two. 55 calories and worth it when I am in the mood for it. I figure it in on my calorie counter and still stay within my calorie range. For the most part, though, I feel those calories are better spent on healthy food rather than alcohol. The more I follow a healthy living plan, the less inclined I am to have the occasional beer.
Yes. I build it into my plan on the days I indulge, so that I don't go overboard!

I didn't drink much before because I have young children. I'd have a couple coolers here in there in the summer but I realized when I began to lose weight and get fit that sugary, calorie dense coolers were something I could live without. Now, I'm not going to completely write them off my list, I may still have the occasional cooler this summer while sitting around my inlaws pool and I'll have a few summery pina colada coolers and some wine when we do our child-free camping trips this year. But during the fall, winter and spring so far I've maybe had a few glasses of wine durning Thanksgiving (October, here in Canada), Christmas and 1 glass a month and a half ago at dinner at my inlaws.
I don't drink alcohol at all and haven't for a very long time.

I haven't made any real effort to change my occasional glass of wine with dinner, or the once in awhile cold-beer-on-hot-summer-day. Its usually light beer, so the carbs & cal's aren't that bad. Going all the way back to college, I never could drink very much--I'd get full and sleepy on one or two beers! :)
no I try not to drink any of my calories.......I don't even drink fruit juice. for me it's wasted calories.

I do enjoy a glass of wine now and then. When I first started with Spark back in January, I would have 1 small glass of a good red wine, every single day for my "snack." These days though, I tend to prefer food over wine! But will still have a glass or two, maybe 1x/week now.
Occasionally, I was going to have some drinks Friday night with my husband, but it did not end up that way since my 17 year old was going out with friends. I will not drink when she is out with friends just in case of emergency and we need to go get her.

I guess I'm lucky, the smell of alcoholic drinks makes me sick, although I tried to enjoy them when I was young, just couldn't hack them, they remind me of icky tasting cough syrup, lol. I have enough other food issues to tempt me, though.

The hubby and I split a bottle of wine on Fridays. It is our big treat!

Yep! Wine is one of the great joys of life. I've had several days where wine is 20% of my calories for the day (I've cut back on everything else).... Martini's have LOTS of calories so I don't do those very often. Light beer and gin and tonics aren't too bad every once in a while. I just love food and drink!
