Just wanted to say hi to all. I am new to all this so hopefully I am logging in all the right info. I have been dieting all my life. I quit smoking and gained 50+ lbs. along with the other 20 I wanted to get off and could not get this off for years. I decided to have the lap band surgery and it helped get my 50 lbs. off but I am always dieting and going back and forth. I did WW at home and lost some more(oh by the way my lap band slipped and it had to be removed and replaced with a new one and this one is not good like the original)I am very proud of myself at this time because I went from 260 and now I am 182.8 as of today. I joined Spark and started to track a week ago. I thought I would have lost more than a pound or so for the amount of food I was eating and I did exercise everyday but I am still motivated and I have a realistic short term goal of 172. On my way and very glad I joined Spark.
