Counting calories worked very well for me until menopause. Now, I'm also counting carbs!

I track both....pay most attention to the carbs though.

Having been around for a while, I find carbs are a necessity. I count mostly calories but try to make sure my carbs, prot, and fat are all in teh correct balance. :)

I rather count calories because just because you're eating low carb doesn't mean you're eating any less calories....
