I eat very healthy; exercise, drink water etc. yet I have had a rotten head and chest cold for going on two weeks. Always happens when the kids go back to school. I feel for ya.....all I do is walk walk walk and walk more......the coughing gets better when it is colder outside.

I am counting all the Kegels I have to do, so I don't pee when I cough, as exercise emoticon

I had the adult vaccine a couple of years ago. She links I'm developing asthma because this has been happening the same every year for a couple of years now. I had asthma when I was little but it went away. And I don't have symptoms when out, but u never know.

Ask your doctor if s/he ruled out pertussis. It's making a comeback because of people not vaccinating, and the vaccine immunity wears off in adults if they don't get a booster.

If it does happen to be pertussis, it won't change the way they treat you, but the doctors will need to check up on any babies or elderly people you've been near, and inform the parents of older children.

Man! I'm sorry you're sick! I hate being sick too, because not only do I feel miserable, but it also makes me crave comfort food. Hang in there! Hope you're back on your feet quickly!

Sorry to hear you're so unwell. Apparently it helps to eat pro-biotic yogurts when you're on antibiotics as they replace the good bacteria in your stomach and help protect against sickness, nausea etc.
Get well soon

I can empathize. I usually end up with something similar at least once every winter. Take care of yourself.

I wish being sick counted as exercise. I'm coughing so much that my heart rate is in my cardio range and my abs feel like they are getting a great work out. Being sick bites! I was an antibiotic last week for it and this week I'm on two antibiotics! Save me! emoticon
