eugh my weight is completely stuck. I've been slipping with my water so I'm forcing 8 glasses down a day again, see if it makes a difference! I really want a loss for our next weigh in!!

7/20=no weigh in. Out of town.
7/27=217 (down .6) 9.4 to go!
8/10=211.3 (down 5.7lbs) Only 4.3lbs to go!!

Hi sparklers! Yes the day is here!
Put in your pds/ozs lost and I will record them tomm, when all the posts are in! If you didn't lose any this w/i NO WORRIES there is plenty of w/i's left till christmas. i didn't even lose this w/i. grrrr and I did everything right! what i do know is that if we keep sparkin, movin,and loging in our cals it will catch up! What is really nice about this challenge is that gains don't matter! We are only recording losses from Start wts only! So send me your start wt from below, if I posted it wrong I will change it! and where you are now! Good luck sparkies, look forward to seeing how you all did! I am very sad to report I have not lost any weight... " Aunt Flo" is here for her monthly visit and so I am unsure as to if the gain is real or due to her so I will go with no loss until next week. This is very upsetting to me as I have lost nothing in weeks.
I have a spring loaded scale as well and I can step on in in different places and it changes... *LOL* I really need a digital.

My weight today is 156, down 1 pound from my starting weight. My weight hadn't changed in weeks, and then I lose a pound this past week.
I think the scale's messing with me! emoticon

ok first weigh in for me. 148.3 - 1.1 pounds up lolol.
I know I should be unhappy with that but I'm actually quite pleased! its a loss from my weight on monday and shows I managed to stop the mega eating. a year ago I would have just given up and carried on eating but now I recognised what I was doing and actually got back on track. yay!

hope everyone else has a successful weigh in, roll on next weigh in day, I'm aiming for a loss!

I wanted to take a minute to tell you all, you rock! It is difficult to make commitments, even more difficult to keep them. You have made a choice to be your best! It's a tough road at times but very doable! Keep logging in your cals and moving and you will get to where you are wanting to be, NO worries if that darn scale didn't move,this is a long term goal, not an overnighter! Ok sparklers Thurs is the first w/i! every oz counts!

gahh, one again I blew it! as I was shovelling two wagon wheels (do you have them in America?? they are a chocolatey biscuit thing with jam and marshmallow on...) I was thinking to myself ahh I'm sooo going over my calories. I didnt stop though! Someone stop me! I blame tiredness with having a 6 month old baby..not the fact that I'm greedy..ok I admit I'm greedy.

I've planned my food for tomorrow in advance anyway, not totally sure on the calories for the cake as the recipe is in cups but all the nutritional info we have for ingredients here is in mls and grams. I'll have to measure out in cups and weigh it as I go along tomorrow when I'm making it. I think I have it roughly right anyway.

I think my problem is that I am now a healthy weight. I really want to lose around 10 pounds more so I have a nice buffer zone to work with but I'm really struggling..I guess what every says is true, the last 10 pounds is the hardest!

Thats what I'm liking about this challenge, theres still plenty of time lol

Don't fret too much over one "bad" weekend. It was a continued pattern of overeating that got us here. It wasn't just the occasional overindulgent meal or even a weekend full of overeating.

Sounds like you're making some positive choices and changes, with the revamped recipe and planning your food. Plus, you already did your exercise for the day. emoticon

Keep moving forward, even if it includes (and it will!) an occasional step backwards!

oh dear, I completely lost all my motivation over the weekend and the scales show it majorly, I've got a feeling my first weigh in for this challenge might actually show a gain! sigh. Not helped by the fact its OH bday tomorrow and I'm making him a deep dish cookie pie. It is a healthier version made with chickpeas (garbanzo I think in America?) and applesauce so if I'm careful with my meals tomorrow I can have a slice and still be in my calories I think.

I've already done my exercise and planned my food for the day so going well

I'm in! this seems like a very doable weight loss goal for me! 12 pounds would take me to my ultimate goal of 135 which would be a brilliant christmas present to myself.

I'm really struggling this week, just tracked my food for the day and by some miracle I'm in most of my ranges (although by no means a healthy days food!) I've tracked tomorrows food so if I can manage that I'll be ok.

My starting weight is 147.3 so I'll round my goal weight down to 135. I really cant imagine being 135. the lowest I've been my adult life is 146! eeee

I am so excited! I just posted my first challenge as a team leader! It is something we all can do! It's fun, doable, and we have 'plenty' of time to all be successful on it! It is called the "christmas time challenge- lose 12 by 12/12/12" sign up! We can all achieve this challenge together! HOpe to see you all say "count me in for christmas" today!
