The most noticeable thing to me was hyper-processed white bread/buns. A few years ago, I wouldn't have thought twice about having a Sara Lee dinner roll (or 3). Now they taste like pure sugar to me.

I was also talking to a coworker yesterday about how much less salt we need. I used to use a ton of the stuff. If I used now what I used then, I wouldn't be able to eat the food. Now I enjoy the flavor of what I'm actually eating instead of just the flavor of salt.

yes, as i detox from sugar I find that diet soda (which I really haven't had in over five years), cookies and such just have a horrible aftertaste. I find that an apple is sweet enough.

I also find that if I do eat too much sugar in a day, I feel ill.

I'm finding that as well. I used to love soda's. Now they are way too sweet. I prefer my plain ole' water!

I really like dark chocolate that is at least 85% cocoa. Any less and it just tastes like sugar. On a bright note, dark chocolate has some good benefits.

Yes, I think that is pretty common. The artificial sweetners too, I just don't like. They taste awful. I never liked soda much, but took a sip of one and ugh.

Certain things, however, I wish would go away. Maybe after some more time, chocolate will taste bad to me... I hope!

Now that I am eating a lot less sugar, I find that yogurt with fruit is too sweet. I really like plain yogurt now. I can no longer eat any cake with a frosting anymore, it makes me sick to my stomach. Has anyone else had a change in what tastes good to them?
