I have gone in the bathroom, looked in the mirror and put some candy in my mouth and when ready to swallow, I've spit it in the sink. The reason I look in the mirror is to talk to myself about how I don't want that candy (sugar/starch) in my body. I do this because I know I just want to TASTE the food and I don't want to be upset later that I swallowed it and then have that nasty voice in my head tell me I have no control. Remember, you just want the TASTE.
I wash out the sink, and then brush my teeth and have some sugar-free gum. It gets me through the craving.

I will be glad when the holidays are done. Salt water taffy is my absolute weakness right now. I have definitely gone overboard.
I will be doing something to work these candies off :)
