Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

I am a 68 yr. old who has carried 100 lbs. to much for a number of years. I have had both hyper and hypo thryoidism which has made weight a problem. I have been a widow for 18 years. with 4 children, one of my sons is a survival flight nurse. I have had numerous health issues over the years including a pituitary tumor requiring transphynoidal surgery. I have been the Queen of a Red Hat group for 11 years. Each of my group is a widow that has experienced sudden loss. We have done many great things, such as sailing on a tall ship. I hope being a part of SparkPeople will lead to my goal of being healthy.
