Congratulations for being bulimia free for the past four months ! That's wonderful news.
As others have noted, we really aren't in a position to answer your question. That's something you need to discuss with your doctor.
In general, if you are weighing yourself on a daily basis, you will see that number go up and down for many different reasons. My weight can fluctuate as much as 3-4 pounds in a day. When I get my period, my weight can vary as much as 5-7 pounds during that week.
Remember, there is more to good health than a number that stares at us from between our toes in the morning. Think about how the food we eat nourishes our bodies. When you eat healthy, you feel good inside and out.

The previous poster has given you some good advice. Everyone is different, so it's hard to say how long it will take for your body to recover. The best person to discuss this with would be your doctor.

I think that this should be discussed with your Dr. We aren't equipped to answer your question.
Are you having ongoing therapy? If not, you may find it helpful to see a Therapist who deals with eating issues. The anxiety really needs addressing to help prevent you slipping back again.
You would also possibly benefit from an appointment with a Registered Dietitian. Your Dr will be able to refer you to one.
Congratulations on being 4 months bulimia free! That is a great achievement.

I am currently 4 months free of bulimia. I still deal with the anxiety that comes with food. I exercise everyday to help deal with it. i go out on the weekends almost always, so at least one day and sometimes two i will drink and sometimes eat some sort of unhealthy food after a night of drinking. besides that i eat pretty clean and exercise for sure 6 days a week. what i am trying to get at is, is it possible i still be suffering from bulimia bloat and the weight gain that comes with it still? i was on a restricted diet and was bulimic for almost a year and like i said before have been binge and purge free for 4 months now...so it seems like it should be done now but i am still at the weight i was when i began recovery
