i love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I would get them on tape and listen on the long drive to work. I would laugh out loud! I'm sure I looked funny to onlookers but they are very entertaining!!
I am currently reading the Great Gatsby. It's a classic that I never read in high school. Pretty good and quick read!

Diana Gabaldon's series is one of my favorites! I just recently read The Passage by Justin Cronin, Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler and Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I just started The Help . . .

I enjoy reading books by Ted Dekker; his "Paradise" series is great!
My daughter really likes Nicholas Sparks, however you probably know most of his books are drama; yet there are very good reads.

I liked "The Help" sorry I don't remember the author. The book was much better than the movie.

How about the Percy Jackson series!?

Entertaining and fun, but you have to like old roman Gods in a modern setting! lol!

I am looking for some new authors. I mostly read murder/mystery/crime, trashy romance (think Fabio on the cover) and SiFi/ Fantasy...

I like popular fiction and am just looking for someone new

Any suggestions?
