Honestly, when it comes to things like this, it's something that needs to be dealt with with a health professional in person. These types of feelings and issues won't go away on their own, even if you have support from others here on SparkTeens. Have you talked to your parents or even your doctor about this? If not, I would highly recommend that you do so you can get the appropriate help necessary so you can have a better relationship with food, your body, and your health.
With that said, this site has a lot of helpful information for recovering from disordered eating habits that you may find useful: www.something-fishy.org/ .
Hey everyone, im new to this site and i was in need of some support and motivation on how to have a healthy relationship with food. I gained quite a bit if weight from binging on junk food and not exercising. Well ive lost most of that weight but, now im even more overly concerned about weight loss, i try to have a healthy relationship with food, but no matter how hard i , iend up falling short. I end up binging and feeling absolutely miserable! Technically i dont deprive myself, i let myself hv a cookie, but when im emotional it ends up turning into more than i hoped for, i guess i dont know how to deal with my emotions properly without using food to numb my feelings. I also feel guilty everytime i eat something i have to check my stomach to see if its gotten any bigger, my stomach has a tendency to bloar and it upsets me so much, if abyone could help, i wld really appreciate it! :) and anyone who wants to be my weight loss healthy motivation body tht wld be awesome especially if u dealt with these sort of issues, we cld support each other! :)
