I haven't used either, but if I were going to buy one, I would buy a fitbit. It doesn't require a subscription fee to access all features.

My hubby bought me the Fitbit One and so far I like it. It is very small, which I like but worry I'll lose it. I also agree that a digital scale if you don't have one is amazing. I was actually eating less than I should, which is wonderful to find out. :)

Best electronic help?

A set of digital kitchen scales.

Seriously, weight loss is 80% nutrition, and just 20% exercise. Weighing your food even for a few days is a real eye-opener (it was for me), and is a great teacher about portion control.

What does everyone think is the best?

the fitbit?
or the bodymedia?

I see both can be synced with your sparkpeople page.
But which one should I buy?
