Belly fat is the worst - because it sits there and mocks us. After reading some of the posts I am going to agree with the ladies who mentioned diet. I have noticed on days I eat more carbs Bread pasta rice I tend to bloat up and on days that I eat mostly protein with fruits I don;t feel as large, However working our core is very important. I really hope yo start losing some inches soon - it is discouraging....

I have had 4 children and 2 of them are a set of twins. I didn't think I'd ever loose my belly and my muffin top now that I've had it for so many years. I started doing some research about belly fat. I really needed to tighten & tone which I never focused on before. Well, it's finally starting to happen and I'm thrilled. I do 4 main exercises for the abs 2 times a week: bridges, modified plank, hundred, & bicycle. I do 3 sets of 15 each. I also am eating healthy and have added avocados once a day for the healthy fat and I walk every week day for 30 min. I have found more energy, I feel much better about myself, and I'm sleeping so much better. I'm also doing other strength training exercises along with those above. I try to do 100 squats a day. I do these while I brush my teeth, doing my hair, & watching TV. I try not to sit for any lengthy amount of time during the day.

There are always "problem" areas no matter what size or weight you are at. It would be awesome if when we are doing everything right we get the result we wish for.
Happiness is there if you chose it.

I too would love to lose the belly for good. It gets better when I eat better and do my exercise.

Some of us have round bellies--it's just our natural body type. Even at a size 4, I still have a "gut"....so it goes. Lose weight, exercise--you'll shrink some. But the "fat belly" workouts or diet plans are BS....total garbage.
It Is What It Is.... :)

You can't target fat loss. So forget every marketing gimmick out there that told you that you could if you follow their meal plan, buy their diet book or used their exercise equipment.
Fat loss occurs all over the body when you create a calorie deficit from your maintenance needs. ie: eat less and move more.
Where it comes off most/least is determined by genetics and your natural body shape. If you're a pear shape, fat will hold on for dear life in your lower body. If you're an apple shape, fat will hold onto dear life in your midsections.
I'm 110 lbs, I workout 6-7 days a week (both cardio and strength training), I eat clean and healthy and I still have a flabby, pot belly left over that I never had before I gained weight.
"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.

My belly is one of my problem areas as well. I'm going to increase my lean protein intake and cut back on my carb intake. I will continue to workout and keep the variety going and wish for the best. I want a side profile I can be happy with a smile. Don't give up!
Progress may be slow, but it happens! No such thing as last place only finishers.
abs (no belly) is built in the kitchen by what you eat. I have that same issue. I keep working on it. When I eat better I have less of a belly. Whole grains, veggies, fruits and lean meats help with that. And watch the good fats and have not too many. Good luck in this. Let me know how this goes.........I hear your frustration............ME TOO...........!
