I'm a runner through and through, but when I need to slack off a bit and take the pace down to recover, then I absolutely LOVE walking outdoors.
Where I live there are several routes I can take, and my village is at the top of a hill so no matter which direction I head in, there are always hills to tackle.
I'm also fortunate in that as well as walking the streets between villages, there are also a lot of public rights of way across fields, so I like nothing better than a good hike over the hills and fields.
Keep up the walking - it's a great way to keep fit, and something our bodies are naturally designed to do.

I like walking best as well; switching the pace, doing intervals, changing my path, speed walking its all good!

Agree walking is amazing. When the weather does not cooperate, walk at a mall.
Good 4 U........I lost 60 lbs. by walking and eating healthy. To be honest you don't need the detox.....

Every morning I wake up and take a one mile walk which feels real good. I enjoy Mother nature and just breathe in the fresh air. Today I am going to try a one week detox I read about which I hope helps. I stopped going to the gym. Nevertheless , I have not given up on exercise. Still eating well.
