I can really relate! I am finally back after a weekend. It took several weeks for me to get back. All it took was one small step. I went to the gym and now I am back. Think small. What one small step can you take? The longer I waited, the harder it got.

The scale doesn't measure improved health, reduced pain, and a better lifestyle.

I give all new members and anyone who will listen to me one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.

Start slowly. Don't try to do everything at once or you will end up frustrated. Just make some simple changes you CAN stick with. Before you know it, you'll start easing back into a regular routine. The world doesn't stop when we go on vacation. Life does go on.

So, don't beat yourself up if you over indulged at the wedding. Today, you try to be a bit more mindful of what you eat and drink. No beatings necessary. One over indulgent meal or even week of less than perfect eating habits WILL NOT make or break your healthy lifestyle.

Hey! I went to a friend's wedding in Mexico over the long weekend, and now that I'm back, I'm finding it hard to get back to working out and eating right. I need a little push so I don't sit on the couch tonight....

Remember... nothing tastes as good as healthy feels.
