yeah, the weight loss comes from being an appetite suppressant so that you do not eat as much. What matters is overall calorie intake. It's important, however, to eat filling foods and anything, if there is anything, for appetite reduction. If I ate 1200 calories worth of doritoes, I would be starving, much less it's not that healthy either.
There is nothing in apple cinnamon water to help with weight loss.

Nothing you drink will help you lose weight, not directly. You can add anything you like to water, and all you get is nice tasting water. :)
Now, if it helps you avoid snacks and high-calorie beverages, perhaps, but it's not going to give you more weight loss over regular water. THe same goes for the lemon water and cucumber varieties you'll see touted by those who swear by cleanses.
