I just had some fruit and it seems to have filled my satisfaction. I am also on my way out with a friend for another walk. So far so good. Also they are out of sight out of mind for now. Tonight might be another story. Thanks for the advice!

How about you have a nice piece of fruit or two ? If you find the chips calling your name, then how about putting them away where you can't see them. Out of sight, out of mind. If the kids have already opened them, seal them up as best you can. then walk away. You know you can have chips/dip any time you want them. You've made a conscious decision to have them tomorrow, then save them for tomorrow.

If you eat them now, you won't be satisfied. Go have some fruit. If you don't have any fruit. Have whatever healthy snack you have in the house. Otherwise, how about a nice walk around the neighborhood ? The fresh air will do you some good.

I have Saturdays set for my potato chips and dip days because i know i can not cut this out totally but one day a week is better than 3 or 4. I bought them today because all my kids are home tomorrow and i don't want to have to take them all with me because i just know they will snoop out the Christmas gifts. But i am wanting to eat them now just half but i don't think this would be a good idea. Any ideas on how to stop thinking about them and gorging on other foods to avoid myself for eating them now? What a stupid move in buying them today instead of tomorrow. I just know if i eat some now i will eat them all and still urge for more tomorrow.
