i'm in wk 5 of an app that is training me for a 5k. i thought i was doing a 5 min run followed by a 3 min rest(same as day one of wk 5). well, the 5 min mark came and went and i mentally panicked! where's my rest spell? what does it think it's doing? i can't do this! well, I stopped the program and upon review realized that day 2 only had 8 min. runs..talk about deflated! Then I realized that I had gone 6 1/2 min. before i stopped the program. Woo hoo!...and if i can do 6 1/2...then 8 isn't impossible now is it?
