Well I guess it isn't for everyone, but really anyone can do it. The teacher will have, most of the time, the same dances for a while so if you went every week you would pick it up. I hope you will try it again & don't let the good dancers put you off they had to start somewhere too!

Take care, Grammieann

I tried Zumba and felt so uncoordinated that I decided I did not like it.

I have 2 ladies in my class that are over weight & they do great. If you really want to try it go to different classes & find the teacher that best suits you. I always tell my class 'keep it at your own pace you don't have to dance like a maniac, enjoy & have fun'. As they say, who ever they are,'dance like nobodies watching' after all truthfully nobody is because they are to intent watching the teacher. I wish you all the very best, let me know if you find a Zumba class that is for you! Take care. Grammieann

I tried a zumba dvd but my body didn't want to keep up with the pace lol! I think I'll try it again when I lose more weight.

I have been teaching Zumba Gold for almost 2 years & have seen a big difference in some people in the class, body mass or attitude. We have so much fun doing it & sweat like crazy & feel really good at the end. Zumba has changed many people's lives I think it is the best thing that has happened to the fitness world ever! If you are looking to have fun & keep fit Zumba is worth a look at.
