Fantastic, Thanks so much!! I am either on a treadmill or have a GPS watch. Although, the more motivation the better, I am going for it!

I use mine on my ipod without the gps tracker and I love it. The only thing it won't do without gps is estimate the distance of your run.

I am toying with the idea of getting this app, but I usually use my ipod 4G touch when running rather than bringing my GPS enabled phone. Is it still worth me downloading if i am using the accelerometer rather than the GPS?

Just started this ap, and I love it! I am using it to improve upon my C25K running. I finished that program then 100degrees and summer hit so I stopped running :(. Now I am back at it and getting into better running shape! It's quite a challenge, but I am using this app as a trainer to improve my running, instead of walking, I jog the whole thing and sprint when it tells me to run! Hopefully it will help me become a better runner and get back into shape!!! Plus it's a lot of fun!

LULUCALLY - if you have acces to wireless, you should be able to download the app on your unconnected iPhone. It DOES NOT require GPS nor phone access. I use it on my iPod. AGoogle Play is the store for android devices.

This sounds very fun and cool. But I don;t really understand all the technical stuff. Please forgive my ignorance. Would I have to have a smart phone? What is google play? Is that the app for androids? I have an iphone laying around, can I use the app without paying monthly service fees?

I love Zombies, Run! ...though I am a running app addict. I once had 5K Runner, Runtastic, Zombies, Run! AND Spotify all running at once.

Though I usually have just two of those running apps up. But always Spotify.

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't realize this had come out for Google Play, so I would have completely missed this. And I've spent $3 on FAR more useless stuff, so great buy!

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up! I wanted this app before but it initially was only for iOS and one app doesn't make dealing with Apple worth it. Now that its on Google Play, I'll probably pick it up.

I got this on my Facebook page, and thought I'd share with my fellow fitness-minded friends!

IF you're thinking of training for a 5k, this app is perfect... I love it! It's pretty expensive normally (but well worth the purchase price) but it's on sale for about a week.

I love it. I've been known to extend workout sessions to continue the story, or even walk past my house a few times to get to the end of a session! Production values are great, and it comes with a companion game that lets you run to pick up supplies for building your post-apocalyptic town... but beware, zombies are out to get you! Great interval training, too.

The 5k training app is awesome, too... it starts you slower than most C25K programs, and includes other exercises like heel lifts to help you build strength.
