I'm getting a late start but I'd like to join, too. My weigh in will be Friday, so I'll do my first weigh in on June 22nd. My goal is to lose 10 pounds by then.

@ Make sure you weigh yourself at the same time each day, on the same scale and wearing the same clothes. First thing in the morning is best.

Hi! I'm starting this a bit later than most of you, so there's just over 11 weeks until Sept 1st. I'm going to go for 22 lbs lost, which would put me at 124 and so so so close to my final goal! Let's do this! PS I'm all about your get moving challenge as well. I plan on taking my workouts outside as soon as the weather cooperates!

Am back to Fridays weight today but am having to shelve my plans for walk/jogging due to an issue in my left knee. I will just walk the 3.1 miles for this week.

This week I will do 30 min walk/circuit training in the morning at least 4 days a week. I also am starting a pilates class to work on my flexibility.

I hope to have lost 2lbs by the end of this week.

With a bit of luck I will be down 1 pound from 177 but his morning I was up after the weekend so I have to lose what I expect is salt weight and my one pound. I am doing a gym ST and cardio workout on MWF. I will most likely only walk a 5K tomorrow since I am having knee issues. O hope to walk/jog it on Thursday. Hopefully a 2 min walk followed by a 2 minute run until I am done. I also intend to spend a couple of hours working on the garage some more.

Happy Monday all!!! Hello new challengers!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!! I want you all to post what your goal weight lose for this week is and how you are planning on getting there!
I am hoping to be down to 145!!! I am getting back into things as my shoulder is doing better I am still going to do all of my walking and I have a retreat which we will be doing a lot so I am going to be very active this week and I am going to try to do at least 30 min of strength training so I can work my shoulder back up!

Hi! I would love to join. My current weight, as of today is 149.8 lbs. By Sept 1st, I would love to be at 130 lbs. (I would love to be at goal weight of 122) but my weight loss has slowed a little, still losing but closer to 1 lb a week, sometimes a little more.)

Was hoping for a bigger loss. But I am happy that I at least lost!! I want everyone to start thinking. On Monday I want everyone to post what their goals are for the week that is going to get the to a mini week goal of loosing 1lb! SO put your thinking cap on and be ready :)

I would like to join. I have had good success with this kind of challenge and look forward to more success with this one. I have a total of 23 pounds left to lose and I plan to lose them by January 1. I tend to lose no more than 1 pound per week so I will pick 15 pounds for this challenge. That gives me incentive to work harder this summer on getting in more exercise. Good Luck every one!

I would like to join this challenge starting June 1st. I will record my weight then. I plan to walk 3 times per week for at least 20 mins. If I am able I will walk more. At this time I am eating a healthy diet, just too much of it., I will endeavour to control my portions. I will update at the end of each month, of the amount lost. emoticon

I am IN! I'm sick and tired of falling off the wagon. I was on a roll for awhile there before I went on vacation and once I came back, I lost all motivation. I haven't been to the gym since we got back (May 14th) so it is TIME! I'd like to lose at least 20 lbs. by Sept. 1st. 25 would be ideal but I would be happy with 20. I'm starting at 170.

I want to start a challenge that ANYONE can join. That is why I am letting you pick the number of lbs you want to loose. As I know everyone has different goals, but we all still need support and motivation from time to time! I know I am down to my last 10-12 pounds, but I know there are people out there still needing to loose more or less then me. I want this challenge to be something that people can set their own goal that they feel is attainable. So they are more personally committed to it! I want this challenge to be somewhere that we can share our successes and failures. Where you can get and give advice to help out our fellow sparks. Keep in mind there are 13 weeks between now and then. They say healthy weight loss is about 1-2 pounds a week. So any goal up to 26 pounds for this challenge would be considered a "healthy" weight loss goal. I am starting at 148 and am hoping to be down to 138 by Sept 1st. My first challenge for those who choose to accept is to GET MOVING. Get out and enjoy the beautiful summer like weather. Try to take a walk most days of the week, and try to make it at least 30 mins. I hope many will join and I hope this challenge inspires many to loose the weight they are wanting to loose.
