People tell you that you look great and ask if I've lost weight.

Fresh just washed and dried jeans don't require me "squatting" to get them a lil more comfortable :P

When I can fight through the pain and exhaustion to do another half an hour of cardio.

When my arms and tummy are toned.

My double chin is shrinking!!!!!

You can make it through a Jillian DVD without dying (but still being drenched in sweat and breathing hard)

Your rings are loose

People comment on your weight loss

You can do "guy" push-ups (obviously, that one is for the ladies)

You can beat your 6'1, in shape husband in a mile race by 2 minutes

- Clothes that were once agonizingly tight on you are now sorta baggy on you
- You inwardly cringe when you see someone eating the same foods you used to wolf down without a thought
- you don't feel "right" if you skip a day exercising

You can keep going for 20 min or more on the X trainer ( elliptical)with changing levels, when 3 min was hard on the thighs in the beginning emoticon

You go to a ladies clothing swap*, don't dread it in advance, don't feel self conscious (even when you misjudge and try on something way too small), and change in front of your friends.

*Have several people bring gently worn clothes to make available for others. Leftovers are donated.

you feel like a 'wuss' if you don't set the incline at least 50% on the treadmill

1. You can make it up 4 big hills while biking without having to stop.

2. After hiking for an hour you don't look for the way to the parking lot but another trail to keep you out longer.

3. You make it through a Jillian DVD without stopping (but still want to DIE)

1. you don't have to stop in the middle of a flight of stairs to catch your breath!

2. you can tie your own shoes!

3. squats & lunges no longer cause you not to be able to move for a week

4. someone half your age can't keep up with you walking!
