I prefer yellow, but like some white as well.

Yellow, because I am more used to them. But white tastes good too.

Yellow peaches, all the way. I live in Georgia, home of the peach, and you can't drive two miles without running into a peach stand with fresh-picked peaches around here. I got some the other day that were just luscious. Less than a day between picking and my hands, and a few days later to fully ripe.
THAT is how you eat them. I can't stand grocery store peaches. ;)

I love both types, too. The yellow ones are firmer and slightly less messy to eat than the white ones - they can be dripping-down-your-chin juicy. I planted a yellow peach tree in my garden last year but also have a couple of white peach trees. When there are more peaches than it is possible to eat, I stew them a little and freeze them. Fresh or frozen, they are all delicious.

Both are on sale this week, so I won't need as big a bank loan to buy them as usual... They've been really expensive the past few years. I'll probably buy both, although I do feel the yellow ones are tastier in general- the white ones also have an interesting taste so I will try them again when the price is better. I really like nectarines even better, though.

I'm eating a white peach right now! I like them both though. :) I do enjoy the lighter flavor of the white peach.
