Garden season is here :) Yeah!
So far I have cantaloupe, Echinacea, winter squash, cukes, 3 different varieties of tomatoes, carrots, 3 different varieties bell peppers, broccoli, kale, corn, onion, eggplant, and snow peas started. Still needing to get my zucchini, herbs (my favorites cilantro, thyme, basil, and rosemary), chives, cabbage, a variety of lettuces and hot peppers, more cukes and tomatoes, and strawberries. I have a grape vine and plum tree too.
I am relatively new to gardening on my own. When I was a kid, my family & I would plant gardens. This year I would like to expand my knowledge of health wellness by also learning how to can. I am looking to get back to wholesome and homegrown foods.
Anyone have tips they would like to share about gardening or canning?
