Maybe a catagory of SCRATCH cooking using ingredients. I am a Canadian who lives in the UK and previously in France - As a result of not being able to get canned/tinned mushroom soup, pudding mixes, brownie mixes etc...I've changed my cooking a lot. Learned a lot too...like how to make a roux add, mushrooms and stock and substitute it for mushroom soup. I prefer not to use sugar, egg substititues ect, too. Cooking from scratch also saves me a lot of moola....Or maybe its about taking a recipe that already exists and being able to change a few ingredients rather than having to re-input the recipe.... Thoughts?
