I just went to the doctor and think I have a pinched sciatic nerve that is very painful in my left thigh, hip and sometimes knee. I've had trouble doing things like squats and lunges and even barge workouts without laying on the bed with a heating pad for hours afterwards. Dr. suggested I stop doing those kinds of exercises until I see a chiropractor.
I have been doing Jillian Michaels DVD's and love them but needless to say they won't work right now. I want to continue working out until I get this taken care of. Other than walking or running, does anyone have some good fitness DVD's to recommend that don't involve a lot of lower leg work? I'm usually pretty active so this is highly frustrating!
