I took Prozac for 14 yrs and it just made me feel normal and not like I was down in a hole. I started it at 45 when I started peri-menopause and my hormones changed. Sometimes teens need thyroid medicine, too. My son's gf has a very bad thyroid problem and she is just 22. Found it out when she was 14 and she was very overweight.

I was a pretty fit little kid. As a teenager I began sleeping all of the time and gained massive weight. No one heard the word depression back then. My parents and siblings just went on with their lives. Commenting every now and then about my size, but their critics were not helpful but hurtful. Instead of asking me to join in with what they were doing they left me to fend for myself. Now my pity poor self has to quit blaming them and work on solving the problem. Solution I can see now. I had a great day and did not feel hungry at all. I know I can do this for me.
Now I am wondering what I will look like thin. What is my bone structure and what is the true shape of my face. I am looking forward to seeing what is under all this weight.
