I have a pair of pants that weighs 6 pounds and is made of heavy canvas, as well as some pretty heavy jeans. As for weigh ins, I am lucky to remember to do it let alone in a consistent matter.

I want the scale to show as small a number as possible, so first thing in the morning, panties only!

I sleep in light shorts and top and weigh in with that... it doesnt make much difference between that and nude.

I weigh at home so always in the morning wearing just my nightgown and of course also after a potty break. I guess the most important is consistency...always the same time wearing similar apparel.

Just wear the same thing at every weigh in and you will be fine :)

It's one of the reasons I don't go to WW mtgs anymore - watching the antics of the folks before weigh in - taking off shoes, sweaters, etc. I weigh in my skin first thing in the a.m. - Yes denim is a heavy material, it's why it has lasted - an American product if I may say so - strong, durable, wearable. Warmth in the winter, comfortable in the summer. And certainly coin has weight. But I always argue that the scale is mearly a generaliztion - the final judge is you and your mirror, your clothes. If you like what you see, if the dress/suit/skirt/pants in the very back of the closet fits - then THAT is the final judge. The scale? Fugetaboutit -

I never let the docs weigh me unless I'm wearing light, cotton, feather-weight leggings and a t-shirt of the thinnest, lightest material possible!

I wear the thinnest clothes I have on weigh in days. I would never wear jeans! Thick material. Definitely without!!

Without. My trainer at Curves said clothes can add 2lbs or more on your weight on the scale. At home I weigh nude, at the gym, shorts and a sports bra.

I weigh myself naked when I'm home, but the ladies at my Weight Watchers meeting want me to wear clothes. Isn't that something? (Sometimes I take my shoes off.)

I thought you said you had change in your pocket. That would account for some of the weight difference. Jeans can be heavy but I have some very light weight ones also. Guess it just depends.

Jeans are very heavy. 2 lbs. seems right to me.

I attend a Friday WW meeting, and Friday is jeans day for me, so I consistently weigh myself in jeans.
Now that it's getting cooler, I am worried about sweaters and sweatshirts weighing more than blouses

Question. Can jeans weigh 2 lbs? When I stepped on the scale it said 180. I forgot that I had a bunch of change in my pocket that I took out of my car, so I took my pants off and weighed again. It said 178. Can that be right?
