Had mine out in high school. My mouth wasn't big enough for the teeth. Already had 4 other permanent teeth pulled to accomodate and couldn't fit these in. Not too painful and got to eat lots of pudding!

I had mine pulled out when they started to come through the gums. My mouth didn't have enough room, and I didn't want to mess up all the work my braces had done!

I am 70 and have all four of them. A few years ago got a small cavity fixed in one.

79 years old and still have one....I understand it only has one root to it, but so long as it doesn't bother me, I'm not planning to bother it!!

mine are gone. They caused me LOTS of problems. The lowers were half covered by gum tissue, so they were impossible to properly brush and floss. The uppers were actually in the roof of my mouth.

Insurance would only pay for one at a time, over several years. Glad they are finally gone!

I have big teeth and a small mouth, so there definitely wasn't any space for my wisdom teeth to grow out! They were taken out when I was... 14? A bit earlier than my siblings.

Nope. I had them taken out before they grew through the gums because they were impacted.

I had one removed due to a cavity, otherwise yes I still have them
never had any problems with them aside from that one cavity.

Had all four pulled at the same time. Two were in and two were trying to come in. There wasn't enough room in my mouth for them without pushing the other teeth. Also, I was getting headaches.

I have all four wisdom teeth, never had a cavity and have never worn braces. I am just lucky I guess.

No, I had all 4 pulled. 2 of 'em came through but I ended up with cavities (hard to brush that far back) and the other two got impacted and had to be surgically removed. No fun....

I still have my wisdom teeth since before I had my braces put on I had 4 teeth pulled; the wisdom teeth had their room to do what they wanted to :)~

I've still got mine, no problems. Even though a dentist suggested I get them out 10 yrs. ago.
They now want 17 y.o. to have his out. They have NOT come through the gums yet. I saw the x-rays and they look great ! They are in line. Perfect. The dentist said..."Well he might not have room when they do come through..."
