This time of year I love making soups and stews loaded with veggies and beans, and I use chicken stock and skinless chicken thighs. I prefer my pressure cooker over a slow cooker.
My other favorites are roasted winter veggies...butternut squash, acorn squash, and sweet potatoes.

that's my comfort food.

No winter here but I too love creamy soups! Cream of mushroom & tomato soup are my 2 faves! I also love pumpkin soup! And also roasted pepitas!

I love my crock pot. My favorite thing is to cook some type of meat in the crock pot, remove the meat (DH can have that), and make barley mushroom soup with the broth. SOOOO good!

Broth based soups of vegetables and meat (optional). Also tea.
