Yep, I am going 1 pound a week too, suits me fine, keeps life worth living and I always try to remember I gained it gradually so losing it gradually seems logical!

I sincerely believe that the reason I was able to lose all the weight I wanted consistently at a rate of 1 - 2 pounds per week was my complete resolve to doing all that needed to be done to make it happen. When I had a week with no lose which happened a couple of times I changed my workout and or became more mindful about my healthy whole unprocessed plant based emoticon food choices.
I do not think we all need to yo-yo or go on a plateau. The determination to be consistent was sometimes hard work...but it is SO worth all the effort it takes.
If I could do it so can you.

I am not too far into this journey, but I am trying to prepare myself for the day my scale goes back up. So far it has dropped each week (12 lbs. total), but when I read the message boards I realize that this can change all too easily.

I guess that's why community helps - we are not alone and we know others have overcome the same struggles! emoticon

I hear you guys!! I lose a few, I gain it back, seems like my scale always ends up back where I started no matter how many changes I make! I guess alot of this is about the journey and making those positive changes that result in being healthier overall - even if the weight doesn't go down. I hope lol

I'm with you!! I used to be able to eat whatever, and never gain weight!! NOW i look at food and i gain it! I hate feeling hungry, i wish i had a cure for that..LOL.. Thank you for posting, i know im not alone!!!

I am so up and down mostly down. Before I could lose weight and keep motivated. Now the last 2 years Im a yoyo....
