It helps you to be more mindful of what you're doing. Accountability is important; if "whatever happens, happens" would you be here in the first place?

Making an effort to take ownership of your choices and participate in the community here makes you more successful. Logging in daily helps you stay motivated; it's awfully hard to justify some choices when you know you're going to have to account for them on the site later.

Even if you don't track it, it's still in your body, so tracking it helps you understand the what, where, why, and how of your weight gain and loss.

For me, logging in daily keeps me remind of the progress that I have made. I love the featured articles and have learned/continue to learn so much from spark people. Logging in daily keeps me focused, and gives me motivation to get out and do something...esp on days like today that I am feeling lazy!

I do realize that this keeps me into journaling my food, and slip ups. I do tend to try harder to stay focused in my exercise plan. Yet what ever happens, happens. It happens whether I am logged into Spark or not. So, what keeps others connected to spark strongly?
