EOWYN2424 .......... I am sorry to hear about these offensive things ............ Earlier a young woman read my page (where I give my story about overcoming a dreadful life alterating diagnosis) ............. I overcame ending up in a wheel chair, BUT the gal read it and commented on my page .............. "I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING AT THE NAME OF YOUR DIAGNOSIS........... TOO FUNNY!!" ................ W/out hitting the 'report inappropriate button" before really thinking, I ans. back and said, "If you had this condition, I think you find it is no laughing matter!!" ............... (she never answered or apologized) But I was sorry I fumed and did not report it then so Sparks could have clued her in to what will NOT make for good friends! .................. (It does not have to be cursing or foul language to report) ........... Just saying ................. and I think you are lovely ......................
The person who asked me that was an elderly lady! Way older than me! She really should know better!

We are seeing this more and more today. For some reason parents have stopped teaching their children manners, and people have become accustomed to just blurting out whatever is on their minds.
I know it's an invasion of your privacy, so answer them politely by saying in a calm voice "Excuse me, but it is none of your business." Then keep on walking. Maybe they will learn a polite lesson in manners.

There are people in life that you will encounter that have absolutely no filters to what they say or do....impulsivity problems or just plain rude. Takes too much energy to deal with it, so I just ignore it even though there is a stinging retort just dying to come out at them from me.
sorry you had to endure someone who speaks before thinking. thankfully, they are more the exception, than the normal way of behaving. hope you don't encounter too many more like that

Some people can be very blunt and don't realize their words are hurtful. Something similar happened to me. a woman I hadn't seen in a long time came up to me and said,"You got fat!" Just like that. No, hi, how are you. just you got fat. Now, I'll admit that when I was working for that company, my weight was up and down. She caught me while I was up.
Was it right that she said it ? She was being blunt. Some people lack tact. So, don't take anything that man said personally.
Some people really are just used to saying whatever it is they think. That's why you can't let these kinds of comments get the better of you.
Im sorry to hear that, a lot of people think before speaking. I dont think the person intended to hurt your feelings, as most people are just curious by nature. I hear stories like this all time though, someone gets asked if their pregnant when their not, people confusing baby boys with girls when they see them out in public. Anyway, sorry you had to deal with that person and I do hope you can find something for your itching. Have you tried the liquid lotion benadryls?

EOWYN2424 I would totally ignore them.
It's amazing how many people have no common sense or class.
My legs and entire body are now ugly and full of pigmentation now because I'm itchy all over. I'm itchy all over because of the high level of phosphate in my blood because I've been a dialysis patient for about 9 years. This is bcoz Dialysis removes some but not all the toxins in your body. This is a common problem among dialysis patients. I don't know if other patients are as itchy as me but I'm v. v. itchy. I just can't stand it! I HAVE to scratch!
Anyway, today, a complete stranger asked : "What happened to you?"
What a stupid question to ask! If I see a bald person, am I going to ask : "Did you have chemo or something?"! Well, I won't ask because it's a complete INVASION OF PRIVACY!!!!
Before you ask such a personal question, you should consider, will the person in question like it? If you know they won't, then don't ask! Sheesh! These people just have NO BRAINS!!!!!
