I feel like you. After I had dropped all the weight the first time, I couldnt see it. It was like the more people complimented me the more I ate. I ended up regaining the weight. I got depressed, and the more I ate. I have done myfitnesspal, weight watchers, low carb *which lasted 90days* etc. I am here because I have to do something, Feel free to add me as a friend. I am not sure how to add anyone yet. LOL

Yes, I have asked myself that same question many times. Why did I eat that when I know it isn't good for me? I always get the same answer "Because I made the choice to do so." Every action we do first begins with a thought. I often then have a dialogue go on in my head that lists the pros and cons. It is sort of like the devil and the angel on the shoulders, each whispering their suggestions in the ear. You choose to listen to the voice of reason for the good or bad, then you decide to act on it.

I am my own worst enemy because I choose to be. The best way to combat that is to have a list of positive reasons as to why you do not want to eat a particular food so it will be easier to make better choice.

Hopes this helps and lets you know that you are not alone.

Hello. I wish I could tell you that I'm new to this site or that I'm new to Weight Watchers and that I didn't have a clue what was needed to lose weight, but that's not the case. Sparkpeople is a great site loaded with tons of motivation, information, exercises, recipes and other people struggling, as I am, to lose weight. So, here I am armed with all of this knowledge and help right in front of me and I don't lose any weight, not one pound all winter, "why"? I struggle to find an answer to "why" and I get no where and then go right back to my regular eating habits (which is what got me here in the first place) and then feel bad and tell myself that I could have done "why" didn't I? Has anyone else out there struggled with this like me? I'm not trying for a pity party here, I'm really looking for the answer to "why" and how am I going to get myself to change this?
