Take it from a hairdresser, DO NOT go to a beauty school to get your hair cut you will not be happy with the results. If your just itching to go to the salon, but want to grow your hair out, why not get a conditioning treatment or a blowout, both are usually less expensive than a cut but you still get to feel pampered and enjoy a day at the salon

I am also itching to go to the hair dresser. I was looking at my hair this morning and my highlights have grown out.
Next time I get highlights I am getting ombre and that is $$$ so even though I am itching to get it done. I am not itching to part with the cash.
I love my salon and hairdresser such a wonderful experience
Sometimes I just get the urge to change something. The color, the cut, whatever. Just to make something be different.

In the states you can go to a Beauty School and have your hair cut for free and or nearly free depending on the school. Is that available to you? They are supervised so your hair won't look lopsided. You may want to get the urge out of your system by going someplace where you can try on wigs. Hey, it's Halloween season and you can even try on green wigs as well.

Maybe you're just looking for a reason to get out of the house. Maybe you want to socialize with your hairdresser and friends at the salon. Lots of women just get their hair done to socialize with other women.
If you don't have the money to get your hair done, how about your nails ? Around here, getting your nails done is pretty inexpensive. So, if you're looking to make a simple change or you want to just get out of the house, how about getting your nails done ?
