I'ts not that I hate cooking, I just hate being rushed and that's normal around my house.

I'm also about half n' half with cooking. Mostly I hate doing the dishes, because I also don't own a dishwasher. It seems like my favorite things to eat use up a lot of dishes that have to be washed later!

I'm actually looking forward to hot weather and lots of salads. No cooking!

I don't love to cook, but in order to loose weight I have to. Eating out is a recipe for disaster for me because I love big juicy hamburgers, potatos cooked any way, plus it is expensive since I have a larger family(7).
I use the crockpot especially in the summer when I don't want to heat the house up. If you plan ahead and if you are only cooking for 1-2 make extra and freeze a serving for the next week. When you grill do the same. I think if you eat the same things over and over, you'll get bored and start back to old habits. I also like to make a goal of trying something new each week.

Bye, bye food baby!!

I hate cooking too, but I also feel I can't go on living off salad forever or worse that that take away food. I'm trying to find a way to motivate myself cooking, but I have not that much free time and it feels like wasting it if I spend the day in the kitchen and I don't own a dishwasher, which makes me even lazier about the cooking thing...
If anyone has any idea on how to make me love cooking, please help!

Some days, I hate to cook and some days, I am the domestic godess of the kitchen. Today was a half and half day. I made homemade oatmeal cookies and deviled eggs to go with grilled cheese sandwiches and soup for the farm hands lunch.....then I wanted to be done for the day. Microwaved a Nutrisystem meal for supper.

My husband is a fantastic cook and he enjoys it.

I hate cooking so much that I have even ruined things on purpose so I won't have to do it in the future.

My kids think I am an awful cook and will ask my husband to cook specific things on his day off so all they have to do is throw it in the microwave when he isn't home.

I hope you can all keep a secret ;)

I don't hate to cook. In fact, I rather enjoy it--at least most of the time. I feel like I am always making the same old things--nothing new.

I live alone so I don't like to fuss too much when it comes to cooking.
I keep it very, very simple.

Weight loss is accomplished with the mind.

A person who wants something WILL find a way....a person who doesn't will find an excuse.

Which do you prefer?
The pain of self discipline?....or...the pain of self regret?

I always said if I could have the option of a home service person that I would choose a cook or chef over any other type.

Hi All:

Surely there must be others like me who really HATE to cook? My idea of a great meal is a greek yogurt, salad and perhaps a Morningstar chicken patty, etc. Anyone else? emoticon
