Not sure how it affect the texture/taste. Protein powder is pretty cheap if you get it at Target or Walmart.

I am cooking out of "Body for Life" and I wanted to try a dessert recipe. IT calls for whey protein and to be honest it is not justified in our budget right now.

Can you just leave it out of the recipe?? Will it still taste good? Or should I add something else?

It is pumpkin cheesecake made with swtner and lowfat Ricotta cheese.
