Anywhere but FOX I mostly read it online, from tons of sources - NYT, WaPo, BBC, al-Jazeera, Google. And Twitter, honestly!

Mostly online. For "breaking news" type stuff I usually look at Twitter. There's a lot of inaccurate stuff, but also lots of links to good news sources. Plus there is some pretty hilarious stuff at times.
I was pretty disappointed with the news media in general during recent events. I don't watch much news, so maybe my expectations are just outdated or too high, but too much newstainment for my taste.
Don't really care for CNN or MSNBC either one, but if my choices are those two or Faux News, I go with CNN.

I subscribe to the Sunday-only Arkansas Democrat-Gazette; the Sunday-only county paper "The Log Cabin Democrat"; Yahoo News; network news stations (except FOX...which is a right-wing joke); MSNBC; CNN; Reuters...and various other online news sites. I also will sometimes read USA Today, only because it is free at the hotel I work at.

In the morning, I watch my local news stations. At night, I watch the local news then the national news. I also check out google news to see what the highlights of the day are. They'll post trending articles from all over the web. So, some days I might read the Washington Post, the NY Times, La Times, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, etc. I love reading online news.
I only "paper" I read is the Metro when they hand it out at the subway. I stopped buying the Globe and Herald or NY Times ages ago. too expensive when I can read their websites for free.
Once in a while, I will pick up a Sunday paper. I do like spreading it out across the bed in the morning.

I have the AP (Associated Press) app on my phone. If something major happens, I get an alert with a sound, even if an article for it isn't ready yet. So, I knew about the Boston bombings before they even came up on TV. I will also read msnbc.com, but that's more just for lifestyle stories.
I use the internet and watch CNN and MSNBC and when I want humor ... I watch the same news on FOX

Last week I found myself using Twitter, of all things.
I hate freaking Twitter. I don't even have a Twitter account; have never tweeted in my life. And there is sooooo much crap to sift through. BUT it also contains links to all kinds of news sources... the left, the right, the overseas.... it was rather interesting to see how the same event is portrayed in ABC vs Al Jazeera vs BBC....
