I've been on the hunt for a fabric tape measure too, haven't even been able to find one online. It may sound silly, but I hate the way the plastic ones feel against my skin.

My name is Shari; I have been a Sparker since July 2006, I am now in hospice care for metastatic breast cancer, but I'm not letting cancer stop me from Sparking!

Costco had a set with resistance bands, a Swiss ball, several videos, and something else I can't remember, for right around $20.

For the tape measure, the last time I bought one, I'm pretty sure it was at Walgreen's. They (and a lot of grocery stores) still have a small sewing notions section. If you don't score there, try Michaels or Hobby Lobby (or Ben Franklin if you know what that is). If all else fails, that's definitely something you could find online. JoAnn Fabric has an extensive website; they'd be almost sure to have it.

Some stores may be temporarily out of stock due to folks picking them up earlier in the month as they made their resolutions for the year. I have seen them, however, in several stores recently, so I know they're out there.

Unfortunately, they all appear to be made in China. emoticon

My local Meijer and WalMart sell them.

Google them, sometimes we can get a better price over the internet- some companies have clearance sales..

I got mine at Wal Mart for like 7 bucks! Works great! I think it's the same one that Coach Nicole uses for the 28 day challenge!

Resistance bands are at Target, Walmart, Marshall's, TJMaxx, etc. they would probably be cheaper online...

I looked for a nice fabric one and could not find... But found a military "retractable" measuring tape that's fabulous, you loop it around the body part, click it into the main unit, and press the button - it gives an equal amount of resistance each time so you don't accidentally pull too much in your excitement to measure your inches lost!

I went to 2 sporting goods stores and they didn't have resistance bands. I don't want to buy online. Would anyone happen to know where I can find them?
I would also like a measuring tape, not the steel but the nice cloth/fabric one. There isn't a fabric store nearby. Would Target have them? Thanks!
