Call and ask wherever you're getting the alterations done when they need to have the dress by to begin alterations.

Hey! So, I'm getting married on May 4th. I bought my dress in October, and it fit perfectly then. However, I tried it on Monday and I've lost some inches since then. Now, the dress is too big and I need to get it taken in. BUT, I'm still on a wedding night diet and exercise plan (because that's when a flatter stomach will matter :-) ).

My question is, how long before the wedding should I wait to get my dress altered??
