I know that the SP method works if you stay focused. I find that being active on the site and logging food and exercise every day keeps me on track. I get motivated every time I read about others who have lots 100's of lbs.
Best wished on your journey to better health emoticon

Yes, and usually the swing can last for months. I agree with your commments and I guess we need to just stayed focused and take it day by day. Staying on course and feeling good makes is so much easier. It is when the downward spiral starts that it gets harder and harder. But, truly - I feel this time is diferent! Best wishes to you!

Does anyone else go through phases of clarity and fogginess?

I am two weeks into my healthy lifestyle. I feel *amazing*. I am drinking a ton of water, working out frequently, eating healthy, tracking everything.

When I'm this version of me, I would scoff at french fries. When I'm in the fog, all this seems so far away. I forget how good it feels and how obvious it all seems.

I hope I can commit long term this time and not forget this feeling.
