I want to congratulate you on making this journey. I began my own journey a few years ago and though my pace has been slow I have lost over 100 pounds! You can have success too!

No "starting tomorrow," or "waiting until after the holiday/birthday/weekend/day that ends in y."
No feeling sorry for myself or deprived.
No excuses that I can't exercise because I'm in a wheelchair or eat healthy foods because I have Crohn's or blaming the overeating on asthma medications.
No claiming confusion because of all the contradictory health articles and diets.
No saying I have to have a certain kind of food in my kitchen before I start, no saying I can't afford healthy foods.
No buying and taking weird supplements looking for a miracle.
No saying it's too late because I'm over 50.
No saying food relaxes me so I can sleep.
No getting take-out because I don't have the energy to cook.
No saying it's ok to make cookies/cakes/fried something because I will only eat a little.
