"If you don't know why I'm mad at you then I'm NOT telling you!"

I can never wrap my head around this statement and why it gets used on me.

DH & I are both tired of 'at the end of the day'. Seems we hear that all the time!

I say 'soitenly' (as in 'certainly' ala Curly) a lot

for those of you who have to go to lots of those endless meetings, Catch Phrase Bingo is a blast! Make up your own Bingo cards with the often used catch phrases from your office. Hand the cards out to your pals at work and enjoy the next meeting. (warning - GMs and most mangement folks often fail to see the humor in this)

I find myself saying: What the h-e-double hocky sticks, every time some one does something I consider inappropriate or stupid. Or, sometime I just say REALLY.

Absolutely is a word I use often. There was a time when every sentence at a meeting started with "at this point in time" I found it so crazy because what other point in time would you be talking right now? Nowadays I find a lot of people starting every sentence with So....
Fun thread, by the way.

"not that there's anything wrong with that" (from a Seinfeld episode) - DH & I use that one all the time (also "master of your domain")

For some reason that is said A lot esp. on facebook friends and posts...

I just don't get it, you already said it soo why is the Just sayn added, its like not to offend anyone?

I find that extremely annoying "just sayn" LOLOL

My dad was from Brooklyn, and he was a "Ya Know What I Mean?" guy as well. I took that phrase on, too, for a number of years, then became so conscious of saying it that I forced myself to stop.

I'm sure I say something but I hear "I know, right?" a lot... or at least I pay more attention to it because it annoys me for some reason.

"you know what I mean?" Sometimes, I annoy myself with how many times a day I say this phrase. At the end of the sentence I always seem to just tag it on... you know what I mean? UGH

Love the rabbit under the arm, btw!

LOL@PJ: I do that all-the-time!

IDK what I say every day that's a quirk but I'm sure I do.

Wah WAH! Like on SNL (Debby Downer) when something doesn't go over well.

When people don't use their blinkers when driving -- "Oh, those poor folks.....guess they couldn't afford a car with blinkers!" "Hey __________, wake up!" (insert whatever derogatory descriptive term you like).

Uh, Duh!

When asked how I am doing, I will say ..."If I was doing any better, I couldn't stand it."

Really? Seriously? I think I have a lot of sarcastic moments where I use these as I deal with inane college students daily who seem to have no clue about anything.

interesting sayings from Mom:
response to I want ______ - You're old enough for your wants not to hurt you.
response to I don't want to! - You will if you want to live and do well.
when we did something dumb - Do I need to put a rabbit under your arm to breathe for you?

XH had a saying I still use - "I feel so unnecessary" Perfect for those blah days!

Whatever, that's ridiculous ... I find myself saying these two things A LOT...

I am not sure but I think we all have our own communication quirks and little things we must say more than a few times a day... What is really funny I have found my DH picking up on my communication quirks..

My favorite sayings also include.... People are really emotionally constipated today, or,
Man I am being so Directionally challenged!

What's your communication quirk or your favorite thing to say on a daily basis?
