Getting in the pool to swim when I was really tired and not feeling like it at all. A long day at work, drama when I got home from work, an errand before heading to the pool...it was too much! Yet I knew if I just got in and got going, I would feel fine. Feeling great!

My proud moment was ordering just a garden salad for lunch and dipping my fork in the dressing instead of pouring it on the salad. I'd had a lot to eat at a morning meeting, I didn't need a big lunch.

My proud moment is that when I got up this morning I ate a healthy breakfast and then I got on my wii fit and did 48 mins on there then i did 17 min workout on the biggest loser game that I have. Its the first time I have worked out in a long time. I also took my vitamins today. I feel much better today
I almost decided not to do my cardio walking today, but I went ahead and did it which keeps me on target for the week.

I pushed really hard on the elliptical for 20 minutes ... then I went to the stationery bike. After about 7 minutes at around 15 mph ... I started to get really sluggish and my body was begging me to stop. I always try to listen to my body, so I stopped, walked to the drinking fountain for a drink, and then went right back to the bike and finished my goal of 20 total minutes on the bike as well. I feel really strong and proud of myself now for finishing despite how badly I wanted to quit.

Being able to look at all of those beautiful size 8 clothes I have in my closet and trying to figure out what to wear.
That, and wearing form-fitting running tights and seeing how good I looked in the mirror when running laps around the track at the gym this morning in order to get my 6 miles in. :)
OK, so I'm committing two deadly sins (vanity and pride), but I figure that after all those years of being fat and frumpy, I deserve to be a little of both!
Hitting the snooze button 3 timesbut still getting up and getting my run in before work even though I was late and tired....AND....making a plan for dinner and sticking to it.

I stood on my scale at 7am and saw that I'm 4 lbs down! I've been working really hard at food moderation and excersizing every day and it's paying off. YES! And great job on the grocery shopping! Every small change can make the difference

Yesterday at work I had huge piles of Christmas decorations to pack up and put away. I packed up almost all of it last night. This morning I walked into a mostly clear Activities Room and was proud of myself for getting it done. It felt great to see packed bins and a clear floor.

My friend and I text each other proud moments each day. It can be something we do or something a loved one does. I thought it would make a good message board topic. Small accomplishments are so important to the journey!
My proud moment today was walking past all the processed junk in the grocery store and leaving with bags of healthy food.
A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference.
