A multivit once or twice a week. I eat quite healthily so don't want to overdo the vits but do want to be sure I'm not missing anything.

I take a long list of supplements for Diabetes/Cholesterol/general health support:

Alpha Lipoic, Krill Oil, Vitamin D, CoQ10, Multi B, B12 Sublingual, Calcium, Evening Primrose Oil, Flaxseed Oil, Omega 3, Magnesium, Apple Cider Vinegar , GABA, Kyolic Garlic, MSM Emergen-C, Plant based protein powder in smoothie, flax seed, Metamucil (for Cholesterol).

Ohh... I take a bucketload. I've got them all posted on my Nutrition Tracker, listed as "supplement," if anybody cares to know the exact items.

I'm on them in an attempt to address both "leaky gut" and symptoms of scleroderma. If anything tempts you -- PLEASE research them and don't just pick them up and "try" them! These are things I've chosen pertaining to my individual needs.

For whoever said they take B6 and B12... be sure you get folic acid, too. I'm reading a very good book at the moment called "The Heart Revolution," in which the cardiologist/researcher addresses heart disease from the standpoint of homocysteine levels. He was pretty much drummed out of his respected employment and research positions as a result of this (which has since been reliably duplicated) because the pharmaceutical companies can't copyright those vitamins and make their millions. If you get a chance, see if you can find a copy of the book. It's old enough (not ancient!) that it should be available in libraries or second-hand bookstores.

Our nutritional profiles are so deficient because of the way we grow and process our foods that it's hard to achieve a really healthy diet just eating what we can buy in stores. Grow your own or supplement!

Among my favorite is a probiotic, because it helps with so many things. Made from natural substances, it is chlorophyll, and green. What does that mean? Well our bodies are alkaline, and this balances the body back into alkaline. An acidic body creates disease. The chlorophyll
