As of this summer I have been collecting items for my Xmas Village. I use to have a very nice one before my move to AZ...but I did not bring it w/ me so I have to start over. Its fun finding the things at Goodwill or yard sales and imaging how I will put them together for the village emoticon

Frig magnets, I forgot about the frig magnets. I collect interesting magnets from places I visit too. My favorite is one I bought in New Orleans. It's an alligaor shaped bottle opener.

I collected records for years but ended up selling off the collection a few years back---we needed the money more than I needed the records. I was really sad to see it go....a few pieces I could probably never replace.

I'm now dipping my toe into collecting cookie jars and pottery. My grandma had an owl cookie jar that I always loved and I got it when she passed away. I love the forms---some are so graceful, others are funky, and some are just plain homely, and they fit just perfectly above my kitchen cabinets. emoticon
