Thanks to one of my coworkers I've been making yummy pinwheel snacks for different parties lately...
Blend a packet of taco seasoning with 2 packages of softened cream cheese (cut fat by using low fat or nonfat variety)
Take tortilla wraps (I like using either whole wheat or maybe the spinach ones) and spread a small amount of the cream cheese mixture in a thin layer (maybe a tablespoon or so) on each
Dice up some black olives and jarred jalapenos (if you don't like overly hot skip the jalapenos) and sprinkle a little over the cream cheese
As tightly as you can without squirting out the filling, roll up the wraps. Slice into 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick slices.
This does make a lot so if you aren't having a lot of people do half a package of the taco seasoning and 1 package of cream cheese.
These are so yummy and easy.

You might also try some meatballs - Sam's Club has some Chicken Meatballs that you can heat in the oven in about 8 minutes or in the microwave in about 3 minutes. They have a sweet hawaiian glaze on them and not an overwhelming amount of fat if you just have a couple which is perfect paired with wine and cheese. Of course a good 'ole veggie platter with some good multi-grain crackers is always nice as well. A good antipasto platter is nice if you do a couple of types of cheese (1 soft and 1 hard - or more), a few slices of proscuitto or salami or some turkey pepperoni, some good crackers and a few grapes for garnish and to cut the richness of the meats and cheeses. Happy working/wine-drinking!
Take long fancy toothpicks and skewer a slice of turkey pepperoni, a grape tomato, a chunk of cheese and an olive. Place on a tray and take a bottle of Wishbone Salad Spritzers Italian dressing and spray on top. Sprinkle some Italian seasonings like basil or oregano.
People will gobble them up !!
You can create your own too with more veggies like cut up squash, broccoli, cooked tortellini, cooked chicken chunks, etc etc . The possibilities are endless !!!

how about some apple slices to dip in dark chocolate
I'm having several coworkers over on Sunday afternoon to get some work done together and drink some wine. I know cheese and bread are often paired with wine, but does anyone have any other suggestions? Fun or simple recipes for snack foods or appetizers? I'm drawing a blank.
